Examination pledge

Own the first attempt.

The examinations are open-book take-home work, not timed sittings. On initial submission, each student pledges that the work is their own and that they have not used generative AI or outside solution assistance.

What is allowed

• Your coursebook, released Lyran packet, and personal class notes.
• Routine calculation checks that do not supply an argument or proof.
• Questions to the teacher about an apparent ambiguity in the problem statement.

What is not allowed before provisional grading

• Generative-AI systems, solution databases, answer forums, or another person’s solution.
• Sharing the examination or your proof with another assessed student.
• Presenting copied reasoning as your own.

Correction round

Lyran Sol Review becomes available only after provisional grading. A revision may address at most two core problems and must include a correction memo: the original error, the corrected proof, and a one-sentence prevention rule. Clerical typos may recover the lost rubric marks; substantive repairs may recover at most half of the lost core marks. Bonus marks never increase after the initial deadline.

Permanent record

The first submission, red annotations, and first-attempt score remain immutable. A separate revised-mastery score records successful correction. After final lock, private portfolio proofs may still be polished, but official results do not change.
